Colour: intense ruby red tending towards garnet. Bouquet: Intense and articulated, with notes of ripe berries, black pepper and wild spices. Taste: soft, rich and fruity, with good freshness, with light woody sensations. Grapes: Sangiovese 70%, Sagrantino 15%, Barbera 5%, Merlot 5%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%. Pairings: pasta with meat sauce, perfect with risotto with meat sauce, stewed red meat, cured meats from the Umbrian butcher tradition and roasted or grilled meat. Service temperature: 16-18 °C.
