Colour: deep ruby red. Bouquet: the nose offers the typical hints of overripe fruit and jam, including prunes and cherries. The olfactory bouquet is enriched by spicy notes and memories of vanilla and cinnamon above all. Taste: structured and powerful on the palate, guided by energetic tannins and a long aromatic persistence. Grapes: 100% Sagrantino. Pairings: Sagrantino passito di Perticaia is a perfect meditation wine, which goes very well with dark chocolate. It can also accompany important roasts: try it with roast lamb. Service temperature: 13-15 °C.
