Colour: ruby red. Bouquet: the nose expresses notes of wild berries, raspberry and blueberry embellished with a slight vinous hint. Taste: dry, full, slightly tannic and particularly elegant in the mouth. Balanced as only Sangiovese can be, it closes with a slightly bitter aftertaste, very pleasant. Grapes: Sangiovese 70%, Sagrantino 15%, Colorino 15%. Pairings: Montefalco Rosso di Perticaia is a red wine that goes splendidly with rich dishes of typical Umbrian cured meats and, even better, with a mixed grill with a Sunday flavour. Service temperature: 16-18 °C.
