Type: Birra Nursia is produced by the monks of the Abbey of San Benedetto in Monte and helps support the life of prayer and the apostolate of the monastery. Taste: Blonde Nursia is a golden and bright beer with a creamy, compact, and persistent foam. Its fresh aroma is enhanced by hints of coriander and lemon peel. Over time, it matures into an ethereal floral fragrance. On the palate, it is enlivened by notes of hops and malt. The lively carbonation and the sweet, dry finish pleasantly complete the body of this beer. Pairings: appetizers and first courses with cheese and vegetables; spinach and ricotta flan; artichoke ravioli with taleggio fondue; oven-baked white meats. Pizzas: Quattro stagioni; white pizza with artichokes and cured ham; white pizza with cooked ham, asiago, and asparagus.
