Type: Birra Nursia is a beer produced by the monks of the Abbey of San Benedetto in Monte and helps support the life of prayer and the apostolate of the monastery. Taste: Birra Nursia Tripel appears slightly amber in color, with orange highlights and a lively ivory foam. The aroma is dominated by orange, with hints of pear, ripe banana, and preserved fruit. On the palate, it confirms itself as a citrusy and refreshing beer, evolving towards enveloping notes of wholemeal bread and malt. A pronounced but balanced bitterness lingers discreetly in the mouth, inviting another sip. Pairings: tastings of pecorino cheese at various stages of aging, cured ham; pasta dishes with rich, flavorful or spicy sauces; grilled sausages, hunter-style wild boar; grilled fish, fried fish. Pizzas: diavola; four cheese; boscaiola.
