Type: Colle Grimaldesco is one of the bottles that best express the Umbrian territory through an austere and never out of place character, as well as suitable for being discovered even in time. Colour: garnet red. Bouquet: of pepper, sandalwood, cocoa, thyme and small fruits of the undergrowth. Taste: the well-integrated tannins are perfectly intertwined with a pleasant persistence and the intensity combined with the enveloping sensation perceptible on the sip make the gustatory experience of this Montefalco Sagrantino unique, which also denotes excellent verticality. The powerful but well-balanced identity has made Colle Grimaldesco famous ever since it was presented on the market for the first time, revealing its right exuberance capable of accompanying the most important occasions. Grapes: pure Sagrantino. Pairings: ideal to accompany medium-aged blue cheeses, cold cuts and cured meats of the Umbrian-butcher tradition such as corallina, capocollo and lombetto. Excellent as an accompaniment to roasted and grilled meats. Service temperature: 18-20 °C.
